About Me
| My name is Maggie Mae McKeon and I am an upbeat and talented Art Director/Graphic Designer with about 4 years of professional experience. I have a bachelors degree in Fine Art from the University of Wisconsin Madison where I learned that every now and again it was o.k. to put down my pencil and pick up a mouse (Although, I still keep my pencil nearby). In 2007 I moved to the Windy City to figure out what to do with my degree. I found a home at a small advertising agency where I am grateful to have gained the bulk of my experience. I currently balance a busy freelance venture with my 9 to 5 position on an internal marketing team in the suburbs of Chicago. The past four years have been a whirlwind of print, multimedia and online work. I've strategized, branded and designed for a large number of clients; local to international. I've been there from the first idea all the way through to the final detail, and continue to bring a fresh perspective to every project that comes my way. Fast changing technology means I'm constantly pushing myself to learn and do more. Fortunately, my natural attraction to all things 'geeky' often makes this feel more like a hobby than a job. On my days off you might catch me at a concert in the city, or just hanging out at home with my buddy Steve.
